The album Waves, weaves together many threads; a back beat stitched with political musings, heartbreak, love, loss and a reach for joy.  The songs have it all, melodic hooks, anthemic choruses and killer rhythms that invite you to move.  Lesley’s voice is evocative and powerful, each song conveying a different character and timbre for the story of the song.  

Playing on the album is an amazing collection of talented musicians who lift up the heart of Lesley’s songs with formidable talent and creativity. Featured are Darby Wolf on keys (Band of Killers, Beast Mode and many more), Bill Carbone on drums (Max Creek, Z3, Sparkplug), Dan Thomas on guitar (Mary Jane Jones, Moonstompers, Joystick), Nico D’Amico on guitar (Loops for Pearl, Incus, Soultree), Edward Redonnet on guitar (Equalites), and Dave Noonan on drums (Green Island, Equalites and more). Chris Ball plays bass and all kinds of other stuff (Medicinal Purpose, Mary Jane Jones, Joystick, Brother Sal Blues Band), Nick Borges plays tumpet (Mary Jane Jones, Krew LeGras), Kat Ball plays trombone (Mary Jane Jones, Valley Bones), and the album features a very special appearance by the incredible vocals of Anthony Schauman, (Unanimous, and so much more).   

Waves was co-produced by Lesley and the formidable Chris Ball of Fun Room Studios in Greenfield, Massachusetts and was skillfully mastered by Alan Evans (https://www.alanevansmusic.com) With six tunes released digitally in 2023 as an EP, the full album contains five more original songs released in the fall of 2024.
